Jodie Hankins - Director/Preschool Teacher
Mrs. Hankins has served as director and teacher at Little Angels since its opening in 2004. Her passion is teaching children to learn through music, movement, and pretend play. Before teaching at Little Angels, she taught elementary vocal music for the Omaha Public Schools (3 years) and then with the Millard Public Schools (4 years). She received her undergraduate degree from Wayne State College in K-12 Vocal/Instrumental Music Education. She received her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (education) from Doane College.
In addition to working at the preschool, Mrs. Hankins serves as the Director of Music at St. Michael Lutheran Church. She has 2 children - Rose and Harry. In her free time, she loves to play video games, watch TV, and hike in the mountains.

Welcome! I have been working with the Little Angels Preschool since it opened in 2004. I am married to Cory and we have 3 adult children - Josh (Samantha), Seth (Mallorie), and Hannah.
In my previous life I was an insurance underwriter, then a stay at home mom. I spend time singing in the choir and playing handbells at St. Michael, and I am also the director of St. Michael’s GOD’S CHILDREN SING program which is a faith-based music and movement class for toddlers/preschoolers and their parent(s) - ask me for more information if you’re interested! In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing the piano, being outdoors, and sports.
